KARUNA REIKI

KARUNA is a Sanskrit word, that translate as 'Compassion’ Karuna Reiki is the 'Energy of Compassion; the intent of healing others' wounds, just as we heal our own.

As we develop Karuna in ourselves, we not only help others, but we also become more receptive to the Karuna that is sent by all enlightened beings.

Karuna system of healing is NOT a religion; rather, it is a meditative and healing practice, for the self and others.

Karuna Reiki is not a substitute for traditional USUI Reiki. In fact, it is taught only to level-2 practitioners of REIKI. Karuna Reiki was designed by Mr. William Lee Rand, who was a Reiki grandmaster himself. He did not channel any of the Karuna Reiki symbols himself. He got there from other Reiki Masters. He studied, and worked with the energy levels of the different symbols - and formulated a new system, which he called KARUNA REIKI.

The KARUNA REIKI is a set of symbols, which accelerate healing and spiritual growth, when added on to the USUI REIKI symbols.
